With my 25 plus years of experience in the mortgage industry, I have been providing housing services to people of color and diverse populations with financial struggles. I have always had a passion and strong desire to help individuals, couples, and families to achieve financial independence and the American Dream. Before working as a Mortgage loan officer, I was a Housing Program Manager for a Non-Profit Housing Developer for 10 years. I developed and implemented a Co-op housing program for Southeast Asian communities in Minnesota. I cultivated a mortgage down-payment program to promote homeownership to Co-op housing members/renters; low to moderate-income families. I was also one of the housing educators and counselors who helped establish housing workshop presentations and taught classes to thousands of first-time homebuyers in the Twin Cities and 11 metro areas in Minnesota. Additionally, I was a Mortgage Branch Manager, who trained and assisted Loan Officers in the underwriting analysis, and approval of mortgage loans.
